charles. that s right. listening to the president speaking just now, you d think that we got all good news in the jobs report today. in fact, i was reading his statement from earlier on the jobs data. the first line, this is bidenomics in action. but charles, you ask the average american how they feel with what they re bringing home, when they have to pay for groceries. seems to be a disconnect versus the rosy picture coming out of pennsylvania avenue. i want to dig into the numbers that we got today. the economy added 209,000 jobs in the month of june. that is the lowest addition that we have seen since december of 2020. it was significantly below expectations as well. if you listen to the labor secretary, she says it s good news. this is very much a part of bidenomics. creating good jobs in every community across the country. we re seeing job growth and wage increases in a tight labor market, workers have more power to choose and to look for better working condition ....

The government is barrelling towards a shutdown with no solution in sight. Today is the last day for congress to pass a funding bill to keep the government open. You see the count down. there, not from the place where he, works from another, country but he is gone to ireland to work in ireland. he works actually in this very nice restaurant in double and, it is called coincidently this is a restaurant that has been in the press here in the united states recently, it just got a rave right up in the new york times. an article called adventures on dublin s culinary trail. new single out this restaurant in dublin for its ambiance and hospitality, and it s food. but this young man who works there, he is 17, and he is from france, he is not irish. he has come over from france to go to ireland to work at this restaurant. he has an intern job in the kitchen. and this past week on thursday, our thanksgiving day here, this young man 17 years, old who was on his way to work, he is about 1:30 in the afternoon, and he happened upon a man with a knife who was in the middle of attacking someone and the kid jumped into the fray, he was armed with absolutely nothing ....
