Vehicle. Reporter police say the suspect ran a red light three miles away on lawrence expressway and slammed into a rideshare car. In that car was 28yearold carol major and the male passenger. Carol died at a local hospital. The other passenger and the Rideshare Driver have serious injuries. Youve got one person, young person who has lost their life and two other people whose lives will never be the same, innocent people, who did absolutely nothing wrong, and this person who has just no care in the world for them. It was a ktvu investigation that drew attention to the problem six years ago. Prompting peninsula assemblymen kevin mullen to craft a new law.
