Union city. Reporter candles let up the parking lot that hours ago was a crime scene. Police say at 1 30 in the morning, an 11 and 49yearold boy were of sitting in a van in the Elementary School parking lot when they were confronted by at least one shooter who opened fire. The older victim died on the scene. The younger died while being rushed to the hospital. All of a sudden, we heard the pop, pop, pop. It almost sounded like machine gone. It was constant. Reporter she woke up from the sound of gunfire. I dont know why an 11 or 14yearold boy would be out at that time in the morning. I am so heartbroken these kid his to go through that. Reporter police dont know whether the gunman approached by foot or in a car or if they had any relationship to the victims. Its unclear if the shooting was random or targeted. In newspaper from when nixon was president. Investigators say the property belongs to an elderly man named mark elson, who recently died. They say he was a chemist and possibly a science teacher. His estranged brother discovered the chemicals early this week. There was a pretty strange relationship there. The gentleman hadnt spoken to his brother in over 60 years. Propalestinian protests are coming to an end at some bay area colleges. Student demonstrators at u c berkeley and San Francisco state announced tonight they have reached agreements with school administration. This is what is left of the encampment that has been set up on campus for 3 weeks now at u c berkeley in tonight, chancellor carol crist sent a letter to the Academic Senate saying theyve reached an agreement with what is known as the divest coalition. She also wrote another letter to the demonstrators at the encampment saying shell create a committee to look over the investments in will consider divestment. She says they will fully divest but will look into weapons, manufacturing and surveillance industries. And student protesters at San Francisco state also reached an agreement with administrators tonight, the Group Announced tonight that the schools president committed to divest from weapons manufacturers a
