race that killed five other teens. now cory gloe is back in trouble and headed back here to the county jail. there s no remorse. zero. reporter: and they say they are not surprised that 19-year-old cory gloe is back in police custody today. only one week after pleading guilty to a 17-count indictment, including five counts of second-degree manslaughter after starting a street race nearly two years ago here in farmingdale which left five fellow teens dead. the judge in that case assuring gloe if he d stay out of trouble he d be sentenced as a youthful offender. but gloe was arrested again, this time with a pocket knuf in knife in a speeding car where he was a passenger. he s got a lot of soul searching to do. reporter: today gloe s mother avoided the cameras in court but his attorney suggests it was not gloe s pocket knife. proper investigation and i think at the end of the day they re going to do what s right and just in this case. reporter: but what s right ....

were inside the limo. four died and four others were seriously injured. the driver of the suv that struck the limo, steven romeo, was charged with dwi, but prosecutors say it played no role in the crash. perfectly sober, steven romeo could not have avoided this crash. reporter: romeo was arraigned this afternoon and the grand jury indicted pino on assault and negligent homicide charges. it is our belief that the lines here between civil liability and criminal liability have been blurred. reporter: we are pleased with the indictment, said an attorney for one of the families. the family has been devastated by this loss and wants justice in this case. end quote. several families have filed lawsuits in this case. if he s convicted of a top count in the indictment, negligent homicide, pino could face up to four years in state prison. n.j. burkett, channel 7 right now we want to go to breaking news on the garden state parkway where there s an accident as you can see ....
the breaking news. we just learned that the victim in this case, a 53-year-old man has died from his injuries. this is a frightening story. these two people had never met before. they were talking on a subway platform, got in to a dispute, one of them pulled a knife to settle it. it started at 116th street and the victim actually got on the train, got on the 2 train and headed down here to 110th street where he collapsed and where medics later found him. let s go to some video shot about 9:15 this evening, as the victim, a 53-year-old man was brought out of the subway station by medics, taken to harlem hospital in critical condition originally but he s since died from his injuries. police don t yet know what the dispute was about, what they were arguing about what the investigation has slowed trains and closed two train stations. police are investigating, trying to find people who witnessed this, but again, it s a subway. it s a train station. people are moving and in ....
