The former account manager at a Florham Park business management firm admitted Tuesday to stealing more than $800,000 from two musician clients and using the money to buy personal items and pay off her bills. Carla Tiago, 44, used personal information from two of the company s clients, identified only as B.B and J.L., to apply for two credit cards, one in each of their names, the former Plainfield woman said during a virtual hearing before a state judge in Morris County. Tiago, who worked at Piemonte & Liebhauser on Vreeland Road, said she used the credit card information to make online purchases between January 2018 and July 2019. She did not specify what she paid for but described the expenses as bills and necessities. ....
