figure out who the suspect is in this crash and what kind of charges that suspect is going to be facing. we ll have all the latest coming up on eyewitness news starting at 6:00. reporting live in orlando in orange county, tim barber, channel 9, eyewitness news. we ll get back to you, tim. breaking right now, a brevard county corrections officer was just arrested and fired because of allegations of sexual misconduct with a female inmate. melanie holt just got an update from the sheriff. melanie, he said the corrections officer admitted having inappropriate contact with the i the inmate. reporter: he said his agency only became aware of this allegation yesterday. they told me that corrections deputies barry taylor was immediately relieved of duty and has since been terminated. we don t know the identity of the female inmate or why she s here in the jail. it s believed that barry had inappropriate contact with her on at least two occasions in the last several weeks. the

9, eyewitness news. marion county man is facing sexually battery charges accused of performing a sex act on a 17-year-old boy. 60-year-old charles elder was arrested. myrt price talked into elder s criminal history. he s been arrested before. reporter: yeah, he s been arrested before few never for now. it s horrible. neighbors were shock ed ed when they learned this man, charles elder is facing charges for committing a sex act on a he used to live in this home in ocala and crime occurred. back in 2015 the victim claims he was there to help him with his laptop and he gave him marijuana and they got high. after he fell asleep he awoke to the victim performing a sex act on him. he claimed it s okay because the teen said it was okay. he paid the child with marijuana. still he committed a crime. they are worried there kwoub could be there could be other victims out there. they did indicate that we should look for other potential victims. we saw he s been arrest
