Warden Paul Lagana is gone as the top leader at the Doylestown Township campus that has been in the headlines for how the county handles people with mental health problemsand COVID-19 cases behind bars. Sources with knowledge of correctional center operations said management acknowledged Lagana would no longer being running the facility over the past days. The reason for Lagana’s departure was not released. “Paul Lagana’s separation from employment with the county becomes effective this Monday, Jan. 4.
