Coming to you live from separate locations even on set as we practice social distancing futures are stable to start the week as the president extends those social distancing guidelines to april 30th j j, as you just heard, announcing a lead candidate for a covid19 vaccine a lot of people were astonished that the futures, just at the moment when the president said, look, we have to extend things. Take away that april 12th deadline, it will go all april at the very moment we saw the futures start reversing. I think this is a day, dont know how much more, a day where science trumps the pain and the disaster frankly that is covid there have been many, many days weve come in and science has been playing catch up game today it sounds like science is on target. As you saw in our numbers, we didnt actually see an increase in volume over the time and then in there three procedures, i think weve seen a little bit of increase in colin os ko pi, but that isnt necessarily a bad thing. For a screening like that, its probably a good thing. Yes, maam. My name is lisa summers. Im with Century Health care institute. My question is given cprs work on Maternity Care payment reform. Certainly, o b care is not entirely elective once youre pregnant, you have to deliver, but women certainly have months to shop for prenatal care and Delivery Services and we know theres huge variation in cost and quality and its a very High Frequency in occurrence. 4 million births per year. And if you have thoughts about whether or not the lessons weve learned from the global payment in Maternity Care informs this discussion at all. We work with some very progressive employers. Year will be the 1415 budget and the 1516 budget that will cover it . Absolutely. And in the twoyear budget thats was adopted last year for year 1415 which was the second year we had a significant appropriation in that budget already and then this budget will include the remainder of that appropriation in year 1516. Sort of he seemed a bit, i get, jovial for him today as he gets ready to go to michigan. This is an uncomfortable time to be going there. They have this flood issue with the dams that broke on top of obviously the virus. And its been a politically, shall we say, polarizing time in michigan as well, and the president s visit may contribute to that. Yeah. And there have been questions asked about whether its a good idea for him to go to a place that has been such a hot zone because of the crowds that he attracts. You just heard him say hes not sure if hell wear a mask. Hes been asked about it a lot, he says, but hes still looking at it. The attorney general there, i believe, asked him to wear a mask.
