The Lady Cavaliers won the first two sets, but then the St. Clair Lady Bulldogs came within one point of forcing a fifth set Thursday night. However, Capital City won the final three points to secure a 26-24, 25-17, 22-25, 27-25 win at Capital City High School.
The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons’ offense was rolling from the first pitch. Blair Oaks scored six runs in the first inning on the way to a 12-0 win in five innings against the Capital City Lady Cavaliers on Tuesday at Capital City High School.
In the end, it was a victory. And that’s the most important takeaway. “We got the first one out of the way,” Capital City coach Brett Skinner said Monday after the Lady Cavaliers topped the Battle Spartans 6-3 in Central Missouri Activities Conference softball action at Capital City High School.
