Vandalism Suspect Arrested After Having Neighbor’s Tree Cut Down A Canyon Country vandalism suspect was arrested Sunday after he allegedly instructed tree trimmers at his neighbor’s house to cut down a tree on the property without the homeowner’s permission. Around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the 17800 block of Blackbrush Drive in Canyon Country regarding a vandalism call, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “Upon arrival, deputies learned while the victim was having trees trimmed on her property (Friday) by workers, the suspect who is also her neighbor, instructed the workers to remove a large tree in her yard without her authorization,” Arriaga said. ....
