a point of high anticipation. let s talk about what s happening with these airlines, canceling thousands of flights as those winter storms and staffing issues continue to wreak havoc across the u.s what s the latest there? yeah, cori, so many flights have unfortunately been halted and stopped, canceled across the board. if we get down to some of the numbers, right, 17,000 u.s. flights canceled since last week, wednesday. 3,200 u.s. flights canceled on monday alone with close to 5,000 being delayed as well. it is due to the bitter cold, those high winds and snow which has slowed operations across some of these airlines almost completely you re even seeing deliveries not being made, the likes of u.p.s., dhl all saying that things are going to get a little bit worse and that there will be delays when it comes to their deliveries, flight cancellations have eased a little bit but southwestern is saying that the melt down has continued and ....
