ZANESVILLE – There was also a camp for young cheerleaders at the Fieldhouse.
The Drabik’s wanted to include all young athletes and the class was an opportunity for very young cheerleaders to get practice who often have very little experience.
“A lot of these girls – they’ve never cheered before or they maybe have one or two years of experience. With no youth football, this is giving them the chance to still cheer, to still kind of stay in shape for cheer, and have fun,” Camp Co-Coordinator Kymm Drabik said. ....

Areca cooperative Campco’s initiative to buy produce during lockdown proves useful
The price of the old stocks of white arecanut touched an all-time high of ₹500 a kg on Wednesday, recording a jump of more than 80 per cent in the post-lockdown market.
The Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative (Campco) offered a maximum of ₹500 a kg for the old stocks of white arecanut and ₹415 a kg for the new stocks, to its grower-members in key markets on Wednesday.
Campco had taken initiative to buy arecanut from growers during the lockdown when there were absolutely no buyers for it in the consuming market. The cooperative started buying white arecanut on April 13 before the end of the phase I of the lockdown, by fixing a base price of ₹250 a kg for new stocks and ₹275 a kg for old stocks. ....

Maintaining a boom, the prices of ‘chali’ (white) variety of arecanut touched ₹500 a kg in the coastal market on Wednesday.
With this, the prices of white arecanut witnessed a 25% increase in just over a month.
Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative Ltd. (CAMPCO), Mangaluru offered ₹475 to ₹500 a kg for the old stocks which are called ‘chol’. The cooperative quoted ₹375 to ₹415 a kg for ‘hosa adike’ (new stocks) of arecanut being harvested since past three months.
When compared to the prices during the first week in January, the prices of old stocks jumped by 25% (by ₹100 per kg) and that of new stocks went up by 24% (by ₹80 a kg) on Wednesday. The prices of old stocks stood at ₹400 a kg and new stocks fetched ₹335 a kg on January 2, 2021, sources in the CAMPCO told ....
