announcer: live from london, this is cnn newsroom with isa soares. hello, everyone. welcome. it is friday, october 15th, and we begin with news breaking overnight where former president bill clinton is recovering in a california hospital now. he s been there since tuesday, being treated for an infection in his bloodstream. doctors say he s in good spirits and is responding well. cnn s chief medical correspondent sanjay gupta has all the details for you. reporter: what we know is that on tuesday, the president, who is in southern california for a foundation event, he was not feeling well. the former president said he was sort of fatigued, not feeling well, but it was concerning enough to him and his staff that they took him to the hospital, university of california-irvine, where he was admitted to the hospital and subsequently diagnosed with a blood infection. as they investigated further, they found that this was something known as uro sepsis. that means a uri ....
total u.s. population is fully vaccinated. as we wait for younger kids to become eligible for covid vaccinations in the u.s., many parents are wondering how and when that might happen. cnn has more on the planning process. reporter: the roll us of vaccines for ages 5 to 11 is similar to what we saw for older kids. i want seems like the potential sites for administering vaccines to younger kids will be at some pediatrician s offices and local pharmacy, just like the previous roll out with adolescents. another potential site could be schools which we haven t really seen before. for instance in virginia governor ralph northam said schools could be involved. easiest and most equitable way to deliver the covid vaccine is a school, to have the health department come in and give the shots. so, our teams are working with school divisions and superintendents to do that wherever possible. of course, all of this depends on the fda authorizing the covid-19 vaccine for younge ....
