They been given 20 years of prison instead. Investigated who the killing called it a parody of justice. Accusedaudi death squad of killing journalists Jamal Khashoggi was caught on camera entering the consulate in istanbul. Khashoggi was interrogated, killed, and dismembered. All 21 men were detained by saudi arabia over the murder, much of what happened in the courtroom remains a mystery. Secret andl was a close trial. There were no international observers. The names of the accused were not published, and theres no more appeal possible. So the nature of the evidence and every technical part of the trial has been questioned by internationally accepted judicial standards.
