Edwards County 4-H officials say Edwards County Farm Bureau Manager Rebecca Perry will be honored as an inductee for the Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame this year. Perry was an 11-year member of the Caledonia Clovers in Boone County, receiving many awards and recognitions, before relocating to Edwards County in her current role. The Annual Meeting of the Wayne-White Electric Cooperative will take place this Friday in the Wayne City High School Gymnasium. This will be the first indoor annual meeting since 2019, and the meeting is open to all "members" of the cooperative, who are asked to bring their membership registration card with them. Cards are attached to the annual meeting booklet each member received in the mail. Although the cooperative now provides billing and maintenance services for residents of the City of Fairfield, those residents are not technically members of the co-op and are not eligible to attend the meeting.
