Published July 28, 2021, 9:00 AM (PIXABAY) The southwest monsoon, locally called “habagat,” will continue to dump rains over most of Luzon and Western Visayas in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Wednesday morning, July 28. PAGASA said scattered to widespread moderate to at times heavy rains may prevail over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Apayao, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro. Light to moderate with at times heavy rains may also persist in Metro Manila, rest of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Tarlac, Bulacan, Pampanga, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, northern Palawan including Cuyo and Calamian Islands, Antique, and Aklan.
