VICTOR â Lynnville-Sully s girls basketball team got off to a slow start on the road against HLV on Friday night, but a big night by the bench helped the Hawks to a 53-30 victory during South Iowa Cedar League play.
The Hawks outscored HLV 18-9 in bench points and L-S turned 34 HLV turnovers into 28 points. It took us a little bit to get going tonight, but once we got it rolling I thought our defense and offense were good, L-S girls head coach Jerry Hulsing said. We ran the floor well in the second half.
