Perry Greenhalgh with his dog Nella, and messages, flowers and balloons outside his flat A YOUNG man hung himself after splitting up with his girlfriend and finding himself in some debt, an inquest has heard. Police received a report about the concern for the whereabouts of Perry Greenhalgh, of Kentford Grove, Farnworth, aged 22, last weekend. Bolton Coroner’s Court was told the report was made by his family. Officers forced entry at his home at around 1am last Sunday and found Mr Greenhalgh had hanged himself, police coroner s officer Benjamin Dodds said. Paramedics arrived but he was declared dead in the early hours and identified by his family.
