The regulatory framework approved by the board for SM REITs provides for the structure, migration of existing structures meeting certain specified criteria, obligations of the investment manager including net worth, experience and minimum unit holding requirement, investment conditions, minimum subscription, distribution norms and valuation of assets.
Standard Chartered Bank has put on the block loans given to defaulting realtor Radius Sumers Developers, which is constructing an ultra-luxury residential project in South Mumbai. The project named Harbour Heights is being developed on 10 acres of land (7.5 football grounds) on P D mello Road at Mazagon. It will house four high-rise residential towers and a mall.
According to its website, BenSCL has completed 33 projects and 16 projects are ongoing. However, according to a response provided by BenScl in an unstarred Rajya Sabha question in March 2023, 14 projects are ongoing and 36 projects have been completed. In Bengaluru, works amounting to Rs 1,076 crore have been taken up, out of which work estimated for Rs 747 crore has been completed and work worth Rs 329 crore in progress. In Karnataka, 916 projects worth Rs 15,873 have been taken up.
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has entered into an Agreement with Tata Steel to supply 379 MW of renewable power to TSL by establishing a solar-wind hybrid renewable power facility.
​While two projects have already been earmarked for the model - the Advanced Multi Role Combat Aircraft (AMCA) and the Indian Multi Role Helicopter (IMRH) the list is likely to be expanded. Among the projects proposed under the model are Twin Engine Deck based fighters (TEDBF), Long Range Surface to Air Missiles (LRSAM), Main Battle Tanks and Future Infantry Combat Vehicle (FICV).
