Since 2023, the city traffic police have completely moved to contactless enforcement of traffic rules and fines, especially for these seven violations. Now, tests are being conducted to see if the AI-enabled cameras can detect six more traffic violations. If it goes well, 13 violations will be detected through the cameras.

“Unused vehicles can be found all across Bengaluru. These vehicles are causing a lot of accidents. In the dark, vehicles can ram into these abandoned ones. Many of the vehicles are seized by EMI companies,” said Ajay of Swayam Jagruti.
