you all, we begin with the blistering senate report on the torture of terrorism suspects by the cia. it lays out a systemic program of brutal interrogation methods during the bush administration. susan saulny has the details. reporter: good morning. experts say the new information is very likely to be used by terrorists as propaganda. humiliating abuse now in stark detail. the senate intelligence committee so-called torture report, an indictment of the secret interrogation techniques used by the cia after the nechb attacks. they beat, shackled and nearly drowned al qaeda operatives. one chained to a wall for 17 days. another left to die of hypothermia in a cold cell. and now on high alert for the serious repercussions. the interrogations of cia detainees were brutal. far worse than the cia represented them to policy-makers and others. reporter: among the senate conclusions, many of the gruesome tactics did not save lives or stop terror plots. a finding that the cia
