Along that path, tens of millions of people will see the Afternoon Skies completely darken when the moon slips between the earth and sun temporarily blocking the suns light. Other parts of the u. S. Outside The Path Of Totality will be able to see a partial Solar Eclipse. Now there is a question about whether cloud coverage could restrict the view for some.
