Russia is retaliating for what it claimed was a ukrainian terrorist attack on a critical bridge by unleashing its biggest and most widespread attacks against ukraine and months. At least 11 people were killed in the onslaught. U. S. Officials say theyre worried about the escalating conflict. Our washington correspondent Trevor Shirley brings us the very latest. And those missile strikes killed several people across multiple ukrainian cities and whats being described as a dramatic and severe escalation of the war by russia. Earlier today, russian president Vladimir Putin said the attacks were in retaliation for an explosion on a major bridge in crimea over the weekend. That bridge built by russia in 2018 served as a primary supply crimean peninsul so far no one has officially claimed responsibility for that ....

Current temps 50s and 60s for most of the bay area. Were right back down to the 40s for a few spots in the north bay. So get those jackets on this morning as youve gotten used to the past few days, jackets, sweaters on during morning hours. And then during afternoon hours, you can shed a couple of those layers as we make our way through the day today. The community of Berkeley HighSchool Morning this afternoon after 2 students, brothers were shot and killed at a house party in oakland. It happened around 10 oclock saturday night near ag par street and west macarthur boulevard, 15 yearold angel and 17 yearold jazzy stiletto were killed. 2 others were wounded in the shooting. Oakland police say theyre still investigating what led up to it. The Berkeley Unified School district superintendent says theyre providing resources for all students, teachers and staff who are affected by the loss.
