NAGPUR: The banned CPI (Maoist) has issued multiple official statements appearing to confirm law enforcement agencies’ suspicion of “Maoist infiltration” into the ongoing farm agitation. Likening the new farm laws to the infamous British-era Rowlatt Act, the outfit has directed its frontal organisations to continue fighting alongside the farmer fraternity.
In a January 30 statement attributed to CPI (Maoist)’s central committee spokesperson Abhay, the outfit accused the Centre of “dilly-dallying” on the demands of the farmers and trying to engineer a rift among those spearheading the stir. Women’s wing functionary Ranita Hichhami, too, issued a statement committing her unit’s support to “farmer brothers and sisters”.

According to the report, the development has apparently confirmed the law enforcement agencies suspicion of Maoist infiltration into the ongoing anti-Farm reform laws protests.
The CPI (Maoist) has reportedly compared the new farm laws to British-era Rowlatt Act, and directed its frontal organisations to continue fighting alongside the farmer fraternity.

New Delhi: The banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) has likened the three newly-enacted farm laws with the British-era Rowlatt Act and asked its frontal organisations to continue fighting alongside the protesting farmers, a report said on Wednesday.
