American treasures, which contain the five rarest early drafts of the u. S. Constitution. Not even at the Constitutional Convention were these five drafts displayed in the same place. Now thanks to the Great Partnership of the Historical Society of pennsylvania and David Rubenstein, we have been able to open this gallery and display the stress together these drafts together, and tell the story of the evolution of the text of the constitution into the draft that was ratified in 1787.
