BRIDGEPORT One person was injured in a house fire that occured Sunday night in Bridgeport. Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department Chief Mark Subasic said the fire department responded to the call just after 9 p.m. The fire had ignited inside a duplex home on Howard Street. Crews from Bridgeport, Wolfhurst, Brookside and Martins Ferry fire departments battled the blaze for approximately three to four hours, Subasic said. “Crews worked well into the morning extinguishing the flames,” the department stated.
