BARNESVILLE Ohio Hills Health Services is grateful to the Belmont County Enrichment Fund for funding to support the Barnesville Family Dental Center.
The Belmont County Enrichment Fund formerly Smith-Goshen-Rice Enrichment Fun was created in 2013 by a group of landowners along with Rice Energy in Belmont County. The Belmont County Enrichment Fund is established through the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley.
“We want to thank all of the donors for their very generous support to make this grant possible and to assist us to expand our dental services,” said Jan Chambers, director of Outreach and Development, OHHS. “The Belmont County Enrichment Fund is making a difference in the lives of area residents. All four of the Bridgeport Police Department’s cruisers are now equipped with automatic external defibrillators thanks to a $5,200 donation from the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley.
A check presentation was held Sunday, although the funds were already donated and used to purchase the equipment earlier this month. Debbie Stanton, program officer at the CFOV, presented the department with the check. The foundation works with donors to create grants for organizations that help to improve the quality of life of those in the Ohio Valley.
