在广州越秀，有一条叫作“建设街”的街道，它因建设广州而生，因构建广州而起，居住或工作在这条街上的人们，用自己的双手与智慧，带着他们对这座城市的热爱，创造了多个广州建设的第一，乃至全国第一。作为广州路桥建设的核心，它见证了广州城市建设的变化，如今依然参与其中。羊城晚报全媒体记者近日专访广州水投集团广州市市政工程设计研究总院有限公司党委书记、董事长熊正元，一起来看看广州路桥建设背后的故事。

建设街多次刷新全国第一 见证广州路桥大发展

　　除了人民路高架桥，还有华南快速路的设计与建设。熊正元表示，20世纪90年代初，在中国并没有城市快速路的说法，在道路等级中，也没有快速路一说，“华南快速路的设计与建设开创了先河，为各个城市此后建设城市快速路提供了很好的示范与借鉴，同时丰富了道路等级。”
　　此外，熊正元还告诉记者，大家经常路过的区庄立交桥曾作为解决道路交通的范本，进入教科书。他说：“广州作为贸易兴盛的城市，城市发展较快，为立交桥的设计与建设提供了良好环境。区庄立交桥是我国第一座四层互通立交，当时能够建造，也得益于广州这座城市先进的预见性。今天看来，这座立交桥的设计依然不过时。它进入教科书后，为培养道路方面的技术人才带来很多启发与指引。”
