Smuttynose and UNH Brewing Beer Together, Sales Begin This Week Smuttynose Brewing Company in Hampton has partnered with the University of New Hampshire to create a lager which will help support the college s brewing science lab in Durham. Marc Sedam, managing director of UNHInnovation, said the brewing science program at UNH started in 2016. The college and Smuttynose partnered together to create a limited edition beer called 1866 at that time. UNH was founded in 1866, so it was brewed to celebrate the college s 150th anniversary. That went very well and we decided to come back and work with them on a product that would be developed and sold year-round, Sedam said in a video released by the college. ....
