Reporter those tar balls were found along almost 7 miles of beach from the el segundo jetty south to redondo beach. The coast guard says those beaches will remain closed until at least noon today. Thats when the Health Department will decide if the shoreline is safe. Michelle. So anne whats it going to take for the beaches to be determined safe .
