IRONTON — An Ironton man faces life in prison after being indicted Monday on 30 counts of first-degree rape, according to Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson.
IRONTON — An Ashland man pleaded not guilty during an appearance in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court earlier this week to three counts of F-1 rape of an underage female.
IRONTON â A South Point area man was sentenced Wednesday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty to four counts of trafficking in meth in the vicinity of a school.
Dana Frye, 43, of County Road 18, South Point, was sentenced in the case by Judge Andy Ballard. He was given credit for 142 days already spent in jail toward the sentence. A felony drug possession charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
The case has been set for trial May 27.
In an unrelated case, Donald Malone, 32, was convicted earlier this week on a charge of possession of drugs. It was the first trial held in common pleas court in more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
