Today, a court ruled the five remaining trials cannot move forward until a panel figures out whether one officer can be forced to testify against the others. Officewilliam porter already stood trial but it ended in a hung jury and that means he could be retried, putting a wrench in future trials. That is because what he might say in other officers trials could affect what a jury thinks court. The court ruled the trials are on hold until the situation can be sorted out.
