(KFVS) - Universities throughout Missouri are getting $68 million in federal funding for infrastructure and capital improvement projects. Governor Mike Parson made the announcement during a briefing on Wednesday, January 6. Southeast Missouri State University is slated to receive $4,094,371 from the Federal Budget Stabilization Fund. According to the University, in 2019 it completed a Utility Tunnel Assessment as well as a Campus Integrated Energy Master Plan. Both the Tunnel Assessment and the Energy Master Plan identified repairs that were needed, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and IT services.
