Last week a large crowd gathered for the official ribbon cutting for the new Neighborhood Solar Project at the Show Me Center. This collaborative effort can be a model of how going “Green” can be good for business.
The ‘Neighborhood Solar Project’ objective is to collaborate with community organizations like the University to host solar generation. The project began by constructing solar canopies in the Show Me Center Parking lot, designed to produce solar energy for homes in the area. It is the largest such program in the state.
