MANILA - The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested three suspected drug pushers, including a police officer, and seized close to PHP30,000 worth of shabu in Cagayan as part of the strengthened anti-drug campaign of the administration of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. In a report released Wednesday, PDEA said members of its regional office in Cagayan Valley arrested Cpl. Gomer Dacnas, 30, assigned at the Station 12 of Quezon City Police District (QCPD); Jenwin Mencero, 30; and Joseph Ganab, 31 in an operation along Zone 4 Agusan Extension in Barangay Cang Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan last Aug. 29. The suspects yielded around 3.61 grams of shabu worth PHP29,909, four mobile phones, boodle money, and a pickup vehicle. Dacnas has been under surveillance and is included in the PDEA's high-value target roster. MANILA -Law enforcers have arrested three suspects and confiscated PHP136 million worth of shabu in Cavite on Monday evening. In a report on Tuesday, the Philippine National Police - Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) said suspects Isaac Gabriel Ambulo, 29; Roman Hosias Ambulo, 25; and Abdurrahim Ambulo, 41, were arrested during a buy-bust at Molino Blvd, Mambog IV, Bacoor, Cavite City at around 6:15 p.m. Monday. Recovered from the suspects were 20 kilos of suspected shabu, boodle money, a Honda Civic with plate number ZDJ 368, and assorted identification cards and documents. Meanwhile, two suspects identified as Saddam Hadji Gaffor and Nabil Madarang fled during the incident. Randy Peralta, chief of the Philippine National Police - Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), said suspects Gibbrael Arcega, Mikkael Arcega, and Ramil Ramos, were arrested during the buy-bust at a gasoline station along Mindanao Avenue at around 10:30 a.m. Peralta, who arrived at the scene, confirmed that Ramos was injured after an exchange of fire with police operatives during the buy-bust while his two cohorts surrendered.
