Evalyn Naoma (Meador) Hulfachor, 88, of Bone Gap, IL, passed away peacefully from this earthly life, into her eternal life with Jesus, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the home of her daughter and grandson in Princeton, IN. Evalyn was born on July 21, 1934, to Wesley Virgil and Ruby Icel (Sutherland) Meador in Fairfield, IL. Evalyn was the third of their four children. She grew up in a loving Christian family with her parents and three siblings, Eugene, (Wesley) Reba, and Ralph. Evalyn's parents loved the Lord and attended church regularly. (Her dad was a preacher at one time.) They taught their children about the importance of God, family, honesty, respect, responsibility, and being kind and caring to others. Evalyn was a natural at that. She loved and cared deeply. She displayed all of these qualities throughout her whole life. Evalyn was selfless. She always put others and their needs before her own. David Allen Harms, 81, of Bone Gap, IL passed from this earth to his heavenly home on Thursday, November 24, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 7, 1941, to Gilbert and Iva (Hocking) Harms, David was the youngest of three sons. David married Suzanne Rude on October 6, 1963, at the Bone Gap United Methodist Church. Together they had three children: Eric (Krista) Harms, Melissa (Paul) Brock-Jones, and Meghan (Charlie) Abell. David's six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren were the pride of his life and brought him so much joy. David was a life-long farmer and when asked about it, he would answer, "I've never worked a day in my life", because of his love of farming. He was a true steward of the land, had a strong work ethic, and raised his children to understand the value of hard work. David was a quiet man but had a deep faith in God.
