Blackburn woman is facing a felony following an incident in Saline County on February 7.
At approximately 4:19 p.m., a Saline County Deputy responded to a residence in the 300 block of West 4th Street in Blackburn in regards to Julie L. Steffens trespassing.
When the deputy arrived he made contact with the owner of the property, who stated that Steffens was not to be on the property. According to the owner of the home, Steffens had freely moved from the residence, at the request of her husband and children, giving up her right as a resident in January 2021.
Steffens fled the residence on foot and was located outside of her apartment where a brief struggle with the deputy ensued before Steffens was placed under arrest.
Bond has been amended for two area men facing drug-related felony charges in Carroll County, following the execution of a search warrant that revealed numerous drug-related items.
According to a probable-cause statement, 42-year-old Alando Harker, of Carrollton, and 43-year-old Timothy Adam Stanley, of Sumner, were present during the execution of the search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of West Lincoln Avenue in Carrollton on Thursday, January 21..
Authorities say they found a glass smoking pipe; a homemade water bong; a glass marijuana pipe; some controlled pills; crystal shards which tested positive for methamphetamine; hypodermic syringes; a digital scale; two cell phones- one of which contained messages pertaining to the sale of narcotics and had Harker’s Facebook account signed in; and several other drug-related items.
