Its revenue from operations fell 40.87 per cent to Rs 440.60 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 745.22 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses for the September quarter were at Rs 581.11 crore, down 33.48 per cent. Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing s total income in the September quarter was Rs 457.12 crore.
Bombay Dyeing: The market capitalistaion (m-cap) of Bombay Dyeing stood at Rs 3,376.85 crore on BSE, thanks to a 158 per cent rally on the counter in the last six months.
The deal value is greater than the firm s closing market cap of Rs 2,900 crore on September 13, when the deal was announced. Analysts believe the company may look to reduce debt with the proceeds from the deal, which currently stands at Rs 3,969 crore.
