Hurricane sandy is about to make landfall near Atlantic City, but the impact of this storm is being felt all along the east coast. This tonight we have this weather front which is linked to storm alex which is bringing wet weather to a good deal of england and wales and eastern scotland and north east england by the end of the night. For scotla nd england by the end of the night. For scotland and Northern Ireland, clear and cool. For such a deal that looks extremely wet for a good portion of england and wales and also eastern scotla nd england and wales and also eastern scotland turning much wetter. A little bit of dry weather for Northern Ireland but the winds will be strong around irish sea coasts. We could see some brightness into the afternoon for the south east of england. Elsewhere it is going to feel cool. The met office have amber warnings for the rain particularly for wales into south west england, heavy rainfall could see in excess of 50 millimetres, maybe up to 100 millimetres across highe ....
