It is tapped into a dying typhoon, a major typhoon, and its just got everything you need. This is what a bigtime weather system looks like. Minutes. News 4 midday starts now. A mess on metro, theyre still cleaning up the red line. Right now two track problems, one at medical tr and one at woodley park. Metro says one of the problems involved a power cable, the other one an arcing insulator. The problem started around 6 00 this morning. Crews are working to get it all fixed, but the delays have people running 45 minutes late even now. And as that problem is going on metro being called on the carpet again, this time on capitol hill.
