Glf a mud slide on highway 17 crushed a Television News van and sent a photographer to the hospital with minor injuries. Traffic has been backed up there all day. That was just one of about a dozen mud slides reported in the Santa Cruz Mountains during the past 24 hours. The rain also washed away part of bear creek road a quarter mile north of highway 9.
