on charlotte, north carolina tonight. a third night of protests is underway. and the mayor has now issued a curfew that takes effect at midnight. this is a live picture of the protests, which have so far been peaceful tonight. protests earlier this week did turn violent. one protester has died after being shot last night, although city officials say he was not shot by police. the protests stem from the fatal shooting of keith lamont scott.. who tuesday. the shooting was caught on video - and while the scott family was allowed to watch the video today - the police chief is refusing to make it public, saying it would put crime victims at risk. chief kerr putney/charlotte- mecklenburg police i get it, i do; i understand the whole dynamic and the definition of transparency the chief says the video shows that scott refused to drop his weapon. although members of the scott family say it s impossible to tell if he had anything in his hands. the tulsa police officer who shot ....
