Paulding FFA members pose for a picture in their uniforms in celebration of FFA Week. PAULDING – FFA Week was a very eventful and exciting week for the members of the Paulding FFA. The student participated in dress-up days which were picked by the members and other fun activities throughout the week. Everyday there was FFA trivia on the announcements as well as an FFA drawing for FFA merch. Monday students participated in America Monday by wearing red, white and blue. Some of their more experienced players are pushing on in age now, but they have great depth, and Robbie McDonnell and Daniel Gildea, who played for the county minors against Tyrone, should add to that in 2021. ....

The Golden Bears scored 22 points in the final frame, while going 6 of 8 from the field â including one 3-pointer â and 9 for 12 at the free-throw line, to post a 48-42 nonleague boys basketball win over the Panthers in day one of the tournament at Defiance High School. Bryan (2-4) will face Wauseon (5-1) in the championship game at approximately 8 p.m. today at Defiance High School. Paulding (4-4) will play Tinora (1-1) beforehand at approximately 6 p.m in the consolation game. The Indians beat the Rams 46-29 in Mondayâs nightcap. ....

Ulster MFC: semi spots secured by Tyrone, Derry, Fermanagh and Monaghan December 20, 2020 Ruairi Canavan struck two late points as Tyrone edged out Donegal in Ballybofey to move into the semi-finals of the Ulster minor football championship this afternoon. It finished 0-8 to 0-7 at MacCumhaill Park, where the visitors landed three points in the closing quarter to snatch victory. Conor O’Neill’s converted mark saw Donegal lead by 0-4 to 0-3 at the half and they’d be two to the good early in the restart before a Canavan brace tied things up. Blake McGarvey nudged the home side back in front on 40 minutes before a Harry Morgan ‘45’ and a superb point from Canavan sent the Red Hands on their way. ....
