Margaret Marie Harper pled guilty to the felony offense of Intoxication Manslaughter with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 18 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Harper pled guilty to three separate counts of the felony offense of Intoxication Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 10 years Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
David Blake Havens pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Aaron Jacob Inman pled guilty to felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Credit Card/Debit Card Abuse and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Mike Smith, presiding.

Further, Harper, pled guilty to three separate counts of the felony offense of Intoxication Assault with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Harper was the drunk driver who drove into a front yard and hit four people, including two children, killing one of them, in late June of 2020.
