so i had spent time in the field where i m observing people in the classroom, usually older adults, again, someone, you know, that has limited language, english language skills, who spends someone who spends at least three classes literally trying to figure out how to drag the mouse from one side of the computer screen to the other right? so that s the first bit. the second bit, usually the last five weeks of the class, is in understanding what in the world is a username? and the password. and so what i ve seen is, you know, just like this complete cognitive dissident as to what does is mean to have an identity online, you know, people are definitely choosing insecure passwords, something that is easy to remember. and if you have low literate skills or limited english skills, you re going to pick something that is much easier to remember that a computer could decipher quite easily. you are more than likely sharing your password and username with other individuals because yo

top of the hour. good afternoon, everyone. i m deborah feyerick live from cnn s world headquarters in atlanta. and as i speak, in deal yet on the fiscal cliff, but a big but, it appears lawmakers may be getting just a bit closer. and i m joe johns live from washington where just moments ago the president encouraged lawmakers to cross the finish line. it was a compromise u.s. lawmakers signed into law in 2011 that contributed to the pending man made catastrophe that they have been warning about for more than a year. now, as the new year s deadline approaches, the fiscal cliff may be moving to a later date, in 2013. it is part of a possible deal that is forming at this hour. this, of course, represents the $3.6 trillion the u.s. government spent last year, unless congress reaches a deal when the new year hits. so too will the fiscal cliff. $600 billion worth of tax increases and spending cuts. it is supposed to be automatic. but now republicans are suggesting a delay, the pre
congress including the top house republicans are coming out in support on a ban on police choke holds. the country group lady antebellum changed its name to lady a saying they re embarrassed they did not take into account the associations that weigh down the word antebellum referring to the period before the civil war which includes slavery. b but one person seems to be standing still, the president. he says fixing racism will be easy, he s not a major player in the changes being discussed, and in some cases stands in outright opposition. and then, john, also this morning, concern over a spike in coronavirus cases. 19 states are now seeing increases in new cases and hospitalizations are up sharply in several states as more americans try to get back to their regular routines. and the reaction from the trump campaign behind the scenes is very different than what they re saying in public about the risk. they are making anyone who wants to attend the president s campaign rally
