It was 6 30 when a man knocked on the door. A woman inside walked up thinking it was a fellow coworker. The man waved a gun and the worker ran to the back of the store and thats when a single shot was fired. My initial reaction was, oh, no, not again. John mcdonald is with the Business Association and he spent the morning alerting other stores in the area and applauds the workers who at the time were getting the store ready for opening. The folks here are very theyve had incidents over the years, and i think theyre well schooled in how they handle it. Mcdonald says over the holidays there were crimes committed here but never with a gun. A store manager declined to comment and referred us to the corporate office.
