Nagoya TV Drama Special 2021 ~ Gochisou ~ Unagi-hen

Scriptwriter: Kanda Yu ( Cast: Takasugi Mahiro, Nomaguchi Toru, Asaka Mayumi, Hiura Ben, Muto Shungo, Sueyoshi Koji Synopsis: Shinozuka Yuma (Takasugi Mahiro) is a young photographer and has made it his life’s work to take photographs of delicious meals. A food lover who does photography as a hobby as well as to make a living, his subjects are the people who provide the food ingredients and the chefs who turn these ingredients into exquisite dishes. One day, Shinozuka decides to cover one of Nagoya’s famous local specialties, a dish called hitsumabushi. He visits Koraiken, a long-established unagi shop that he is familiar with. It has made a name for its hitsumabushi prepared from charcoal-grilled eels coated with a secret sauce on top of freshly cooked rice. However, Koraiken head chef’s (Nomaguchi Toru) decision to leave and start his own business ends up causing an uproar. This even turns into an event that undermines the survival of the unagi shop.

Network Story Sarukawa Kenta is an employee at Lonron, a mid-sized beverage manufacturer headquartered in Osaka. He is in charge of a large number of big clients due to his work behind the scenes as sales support.
