Story
Sarukawa Kenta is an employee at Lonron, a mid-sized beverage manufacturer headquartered in Osaka. He is in charge of a large number of big clients due to his work behind the scenes as sales support. In recognition of his ability, Sarukawa is transferred to the Tokyo branch office’s sales promotion unit. However, there are many tough and outspoken clients. On his first day in Tokyo, Sarukawa is sent by his new boss Tanioka Kazuhiko to make a sales pitch to an liquor shop with a junior colleague Shinomiya Ryosuke. However, Shinomiya had failed at this shop previously and they end up angering the shop owner Katsuragi Ichiro. Sarukawa feels discouraged. But that night, Tanioka, Okouchi Yuma and other members of the team hold a welcome party for Sarukawa. Shockingly extra spicy dishes are served. Tanioka tells an overwhelmed Sarukawa, “You will have the ability to conquer everything only when you know genuine spiciness” as he extols the fiery hot cuisine that he loves. Sarukawa becomes aware of this “way of extreme spiciness” and matures as a person and a working professional.
