Diphu, Sep.6 (EMN): Karbi Anglong team entered the quarter-finals of the 70th Senior Inter-District Football Championship (Khirud Baruah Memorial Trophy) after defeating Morigaon in the final of the qualifying matches for Zone – C, played at Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) stadium on September 5. The tournament is organised by Assam Football Association and hosted by KASA. It was a thrilling encounter as both teams displayed strong attacking football. The chief executive member, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang, who is also president of KASA with other EMs and MACs also witnessed the match.
