Chandigarh, Feb 19 (PTI) Farmer leaders taking part in the 'Delhi Chalo' agitation on Monday rejected the Centre's proposal of procuring pulses, maize and cotton at MSP by government agencies for five years, saying it was not in farmers' interest and announced that they will march towards the national capital on Wednesday.
With no update about the committee made to look into their demands, protesting farmers said they will hold a meeting on Monday to decide their next move. They also warned on Sunday they will not vote in the coming general election if govt doesn’t agree to their demand for 10% abadi land as compensation for acquisition.
